    I have lived on the Parkway for six years, and in the last six months our postal service has become hit and miss. We have had missing mail, mail delivered late and several problems with the delivery of packages. We have had lost packages, packages returned to sender indicating that no such address exists, and packages sent back to the post office for either pickup or re-delivery.   There were several reasons noted by the carrier:  no such address exists, couldn’t find our house, or they even said there was no place to leave the package, which was never a problem before.

Mail problems

    Earlier this year I started to have these feelings of emptiness, like I was missing some connection. I knew what it was; I had been toying with the idea for a while! The idea of going to church, becoming an active member of a community but doing more than just attending a service, I wanted to participate in something larger, something that would make me feel that I was doing something relevant for someone else.

Parkway is inviting

    I recently read Vicki Young’s article “Rental properties for a good cause, fixing what needs to be fixed” in the October Camden News. The issue is a triple-headed coin. I am not a landlord nor have I ever been one. I have been a Camden homeowner for 15 years and found there are multiple problems with rental properties. I have also seen homeowners themselves neglect their property and take little or no pride in home ownership.
