Gary and the Snow Leopards’ CD release
On the cool evening of February 21, over 50 people gathered to help launch the new CD from Gary and the Snow Leopard collaboration, Sweeter Every Day. The event was held at The Warren, an Artists Habitat, at 44th and Osseo Rd.
Along with some songs from the CD and other songs, there were sing-along moments also. The seven member band collaborated quite well musically. Local poet, Dan Sullivan, regaled those gathered with droll and ironic poetry appropriate to our time and place. New vocalist, Emily Gormanson added songs with her sweet voice. Carolyn Eklin, the flutist, read a poem from her book of poetry, Seasons and Sojourns. Refreshments were provided by local business We Cater to You, with the hearty approval of the partakers.
