Camden Business Scoops

The Camden Business Association (CBA) has been uniting local businesses to strengthen the Camden Community since 1931. Visit a local business this week and tell us about your purchasing experience on our FB page facebook.com/CamdenBA! Like our FB page and check it often for meetings and upcoming events. The group meets on the third Tuesday of each month. We’d love to meet you. If you have any questions, message us on FB, contact info@camdenbusinessassoc.com or write to CBA, PO Box 11362, Minneapolis, MN  55411. Our web address is camdenbusinessassoc.com.  CBA is proud to sponsor the Camden News business scoops to keep you informed of business news in Camden.

Camden Pet is excited to announce that they just went through the re-accreditation process with AAHA and passed with flying colors!     Fremont Barbers would like to congratulate Jim Rust on his 63 years of barbering at 4145 Fremont Ave. N. Jim served the Camden Community by fundraising for Showboat Days, and sponsoring local sports including his favorites golf and bowling. Fremont Barbers is owned and operated by Michael Stoffel, Licensed Master Barber. The shop has new hours: 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Tuesdays-Fridays, and 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Camden Mart, 4151 Fremont, is now serving Champs Chicken – a national chicken franchise that offers juicy fried chicken and flavorful sides, in family sized meals and featured value meals. The grill also offers philly sandwiches, burgers and subs. It’s all take out, so swing by and pick up your lunch or dinner.

Restoration Counseling & Community Services has a new facility — their third in Camden! For info check out the post at facebook.com/CamdenBA?ref=hl#!/RCCSdayone.

Authors! Need someone to format your books for you? A new service in Camden, alamacque publishing, can do just that! Get your book formatted for Kindle, Nook and print-on-demand sites like CreateSpace and Bookpatch  … let someone else do the formatting while you do what you love to do … write! The service is a new offshoot of Typesetting a la Macque which has been formatting the Camden News for years.
