Sing-along to your favorite Beatles songs

Come together for a Beatles Sing-Along; Camden Music School's (CMS) special 5th Anniversary Scholarship FUNdraiser, at 7 p.m. Friday, April 9 at the newly renovated Capri Theatre, 2027 West Broadway.
The evening features you on vocals, with sing-along maestro Dan Chouinard at the piano and a fabulous line-up of guest song leaders including Mary Jane Alm, Debbie Duncan, Dennis Spears, T Mychael Rambo and perhaps a few other surprise musical guests. Bill Chouinard on bass and David DeGennaro on drums round out the group of accompanists.
Singers of all abilities are welcome - and "just listeners" too. For everyone's singing pleasure song lyrics will be projected. And...a fun, speed-live-auction will be held midway through the show.
Tickets go on sale Tuesday, March 9: $20 in advance, $25 at the door. Earlybirds who purchase tickets between March 9 and 14 will be eligible for a prize drawing. Advance ticket orders must be received by 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 8. Order tickets (beginning March 9) at 612-529-2317 or www.camdenmusicschool.com. Ticket mail order forms will be available at CMS locations. If you have a Beatles song you'd like everyone to sing, requests will be accepted online at the CMS website beginning Tuesday, March 9.
Keep the good Northside stories coming. Proceeds from the Beatles Sing-Along go to music scholarships at CMS; 10 percent of CMS students are on scholarship each term. These students simply wouldn't be able to study music were it not for the generous support of many neighbors and friends who contribute to the CMS Scholarship Fund. Your ticket purchases and contributions to this event will be greatly appreciated. Tickets and donations are tax deductible.
