Jim Levy, Dan Beck and Jeremiah Bohn (who grew up in Camden) entertained the crowd at the new 42nd Avenue Station (42nd and Lyndale) on October 3.

    I had a chance to finally get a sample of the 42nd Avenue Station coffee shop. After months of driving past its location on 42nd and Lyndale and observing the "coming soon" sign in the window I was filled with anticipation for this new addition to the neighborhood. I was richly rewarded for my curiosity as I sampled a delicious mocha gourmet coffee from their menu as well as delighted by the carrot cake. I am told the cake was made by the "Cake Diva" of South Minneapolis and brought to the 42nd Ave. Station. The staff was also very friendly and inquired several times how I was enjoying my dessert. They have a full compliment of choices of food and coffees I will have to eventually take advantage of. The atmosphere seems to focus on warm colors of walls and pillows with clean, comfortable tables.
