Folks need to take heed to their own behavior
This is in regard to the “McKinley Neighbors Unite?” letter to the editor in the August Camden News.

For starters I think the Duffy’s need to look at their lifestyles and try to see why the neighbors are against them; I don’t think it’s anything personal or racial. They say they “keep late hours sometimes,” but what is sometimes? More than twice a week? If there was a block meeting about this there definitely was a problem. If their visitors are keeping the neighbors awake then they should take heed.

I moved here in 1989 and am a homeowner. Nobody came to greet me either, and I didn’t take it personally. Maybe they do it in Edina - I don’t know and I don’t care.

Also I keep my cat indoors. Other cats are not so confined and will attack her. And if there are barking dogs and fireworks/Roman candles going off on the block, then call the cops.

I hope their troubles get straightened out - I welcome them to North Minneapolis.
