Omission of a neighborhood icon

On the front page of the July Camden News was an article asking the neighborhood to support Camden businesses and amenities. I was very disappointed that it left out a long standing business, the Camden Community Preschool in Salem Church at 42nd and Dupont. This has been a neighborhood icon for over 30 years. Since I started teaching there in 1980 we have graduated over 700 students.
As all the businesses in our area, we too are feeling the pinch and change in our economy
and neighborhood. Our enrollment is down, which is not a good situation. We would like your help and support. We are having an Open House on August 30 at 9-11 a.m. and again at 6:30-8:30 p.m. Anyone interested can call the school at 612-521-3185. Our school is a necessary resource for our children and we do make a difference.
