I had the privilege of serving this community for many years as the co-proprietor of Papa’s Restaurant and Deli and am excited to request the opportunity to again serve the community by representing the Fourth Ward on Minneapolis’ City Council.

I believe in this community and will use my experience as a small business owner, mother and community developer to bring much needed investment to North Minneapolis. We need and deserve opportunities that engage and educate our youngest residents; opportunities to spend our money locally at a variety of businesses; and opportunities that allow for stable housing for all of our neighbors.  My vision for the Fourth Ward is a community that is inclusive, welcoming and safe — one that is thriving, moving forward and bursting with opportunity. 

If you share this vision, I ask you to invest in your community and my candidacy by participating in the citywide caucuses on the evening of April 16. Caucuses are an important step in the electoral process and are open to all eligible voters. I promise that your time will be well spent and will reap great rewards.
