Letters to the Editor - Thanks for National Night Out - Thanks for National Night Out

I want to thank the folks in the Camden Community and across the Northside for the wonderful celebrations on National Night Out August 2. I attended about 10 of them in Minneapolis and more than 100 of my staff visited block parties throughout Hennepin County. Everywhere we went, we were greeted warmly and we enjoyed talking to people about making their communities safer.

At the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office, we really love National Night Out. For us, it’s like Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July wrapped up in one because we get to celebrate the relationships we helped found, thank our many partners and, while sharing some food and beverages, look to what we can do together in the future. It appeared that you all thought so, too. Thanks again for a wonderful and successful National Night Out.
